TERRAEVENTS is searching for a Business Development Project Event Manager

TERRAEVENTS, a growing network of wholly owned Destination Management Companies with offices in Italy, Spain, Portugal and France, is searching for a Business Development Project Event Manager, with solid experience in event management (preferably in Destination Management Companies), based in Florence but able to manage high complexity projects throughout Italy.

Business Development Project Event Manager is responsible for planning events from initial brief to contractualization, on strategy, on time, on budget and exceeding client expectations; establishing and developing strong client relationships; maintaining effective event budget tracking, assisting with new business propositions and identifying potential business opportunities and contributing to overall idea generation of the event design.

The ideal candidate will possess skillset to undertake the following tasks:

  • Manage the delivery of a wide range of events in Italy
  • Maintain accurate files, budgets & critical paths in order to adhere to deadlines across all events under your guidance
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders
  • Drive change and challenge the status quo to ensure events are delivered with a fresh take
  • Supplier negotiation
  • Organization and onsite presence during Site inspections (with or without Clients)
