Enjoy a spot of sunshine at 65 metres above the ground

Porto boasts a number of formidable bridges in terms of architecture and dimensions, and whilst the Ponte Luís I is the most famous, built by the acclaimed bridge builder Alexandre-Gustave Eiffel (better known for his namesake tower adorning the skyline of Paris) - the Arrábida Bridge was the world’s largest concrete arch bridge when it was completed in 1963.Spanning the gorge of the Douro river it represents the perfect challenge for a truly energetic climb ascending and descending the reinforced concrete arch which is an 270 metres long (885 feet).Climbs are available multiple times per day or even better…choose to climb at the end of the day to enjoy the unforgettable scene of the sun setting over the city!
